Carfax for Boats is an internal Arranto project exploring transferable maintenance records for boats. The idea: photograph an engine plate, a receipt, or an hour meter, and let Claude's vision API turn that photo into a structured, shareable service history that can move with the boat to its next owner. The project is under active development, with a public repository showing ongoing commits and open issues being tracked.
This case study is about the site the visitor is reading it on right now — arranto.com. It runs on Next.js 16 with the App Router, serves bilingual English and Arabic content with full RTL support, and includes an AI-assisted consultation tool along with a self-improving SEO agent that works on the site's own search presence over time. The project is still under active development, with a public, source-available GitHub repository (not open source) and continuous commits.
